Broken

Another one of my gothic poems. If you don't like it, get lost.

Broken:

Abandoned at the gates of hell
to suffer on my own
my shattered heart still dares to beat
as I roam the world alone

No stranger to betrayal
broken promises or lies
dreams of happiness are fading
right before my bloodshot eyes

With no one left to turn to
with no one left to care
I sit alone and wonder
if you were ever really there

As my memories unravel
and I slowly fall apart
I relive all those moments
that tore a hole right through my heart

No hands reach out to save me
as I fall into the void
and I disappear forever
from this life that lies destroyed
