Classic line! "Don't you guys watch television? Don't you guys listen to the radio?"
-
Man, Ted Koppel chewed up Brownie and spit him out. Riveting television.

Even if there were busses to evacuate the people. If I was them I wouldn't get on a bus....screw that.....this was just a test run for what's to come....fema death camps are real

@domirules28: Oh, the Superbowl. Good. That's a great way to make generalizations about people you don't know, watching halftime ceremonies run by big-media corporations, and reaching conclusions about the electorate as a whole.
I don't criticize things I don't care about. "Love it or leave it" doesn't work as a political slogan. I support this country with my taxes and my lawfulness. I have a right to point out problems, and I expect them to be fixed.

@19dan99 seriously even events ilke the 1991 wwf royal rumble, which happened in the midst of the first gulf war, and in the crowd people were flying american flags, and signs showing support for our troops...

Thanks, there are to many people that hate this Great Country and they are so full of shit. They live here and take advantage of everything this country offers and then bitch they want more. 99% of them are libs. keep up the positive additude with America and we will win in the end, God bless America.

You should watch the PBS documentary (Frontline episode titled 'The Storm') on what went wrong after Katrina. In it, Michael Brown states that gee, he was all ready to help, but he never received any specific requests as to what aid was needed.
Then they show the 48-page itemized request for aid.
Brown also explains why he told the public that help was on the way, even though he knew it wasn't.
To see all this you only have to watch the first 16 minutes, but the rest is good too.

Basically Koppel hit the nail on the head. Koppel was the best journalist in American history and it's sad that many journalists have not followed in his vain and remained objective, ask the tough questions and aren't afraid of the answers. Ted was one of the toughest and most respected journalist alive. Too bad he retired.
God, how I loved watching Ted Koppel gut these lying, evasive b@st@rds on national tv.
Koppel for President!!

I'm with you, I used to love watching Ted and Nightline. One thing this clip serves is to show how much better Nightline was when it was his show.
