@Tard6661 hey man i respect your opinion, but Cliff was the GOD of bass...just listen to Pulling Teeth, Call of Ktulu, or Orion. All Those songs were basically there to showcase Burtons bass ability. Now Jason was amazing, better than Rob imo (Rob is still great and he has HAIR!! :O) but imo David Ellefson is second to Burton.

Personally, I'm more of a Jason fan...I'm on your side, man :) Not to say Cllif and Rob aren't great, but I really liked Jason's style and energy :)

i think cliff is really good, but i know im going to get raged on for this, but Jason and Rob are better

Thanks for uploading this. It will make it easier to learn on bass.

@80sMeavyHetal I think the sliding noise sounds great on a bass.
-
@JCchamp316 That could be. Never heard the thing about the sliding noise. I thought every guitarist developes a technique to avoid these by, for instance, muting them with your right hand palm or left hand fingers.
Actually I just wanted to point out that the spider chord is not a special chord but a simple, specific arrangement of power chords :)
-
@80sMeavyHetal I would say that the "spider chord" is more of a technique to play a riff, as it is designed to cut down on the sliding noise made by changing finger positions.

@mlody969 its not about the bass on its own. It's about how the song sounds as a whole... and the distortion definitely rocks it

Cliff is a musician who should have lived for at least more 50 years...
The only 4 dislikers were the 4 strings of the bass that used to play this song because they got slaughtered like hell !!
