@mookins45 Take a guess which American city had the most Jews in 1861? Charleston South Carolina.

Well it's much prettier than the swastika, One must admit. Of course, Nazi and Confederate share the same racial views; personally I'm anti-Nazi so that makes me anti-Confederate too.

Well the title makes no sense first off segregation happened under the union flag the south was conquered the government isnt in power so how could a confederate government that has been shutdown institute segregation

The Civil War is the undeniable fact of American History. I could care less if it's being flown; my ancestors fought in both sides. BUT, that flag only goes below the US flag. Not above; not in lieu of.

It was about the CONSTITUTION, something you never studied in government controlled, brainwashing public school.

Thanks for wasting my time. I couldn't even hear 1 word you said.

thats right it stands for freedom against a federal government that took the states rights from them who took the right from the people to govern themselves and centralized rule in washington d.c it wasnt just southern states that lost their rights but northern states too i only hope that one day everyone will wake up and say to the federal government NO more will you rule us no more will you take our rights to self rule. LONG LIVE THE CONFEDERACY LONG LIVE FREEDOM
Various groups have distorted the real meaning of the Confederate Flag. The Confederate Battle Flag represents all Southern, and even Northern, Confederates regardless of race or religion and is the symbol of less government, less taxes, and the right of the people to govern themselves. It is flown in memory and honor of our Confederate ancestors and veterans who willingly shed their blood for Southern independence.
