Live in Surrey. I love the ability to live in the "countryside" and be able to enjoy the city all in the same day.

@proppkrot All lines are run by TFL(transport for London) who also run the buses & some surface railways:-Overground & DLR(Docklands light railway). They are a public body overseen by the Mayor of London

London is the model city for rapid transit in the world, (in my opinion anyway), I have lived in allot of places and now I'm stuck in a car on the 405!! LOL Actually "Carmageddon" turned out to be so much more mild than people in the news media made it out to be. I made it home today from San Diego in record time...on the 405!!! lol ....to be continued.

i live in belfast and we have a train system but compared to our fellow brits in london are transport system is rubbish london defiantly has IT when it comes to transport

Making out the underground is for the poor!
Aren't you silly! Most of the people on the tube are travelling to work at their jobs, many high earning jobs too.
Besides the point of a car in London is like nothing, takes forever to get anywhere! The tube is quicker.
I think it's fun(: look at it with a bit of positivity rather than constant moaning and such. Grumpy thing!
