Well I think that one can have a discussion regarding an issue and each panelist can be in agreement on an issue, but for different reasons.
You're opining that diversity only occurs in disagreement but as shown clearly in this clip, even in agreement there can be diversity.

I usually love this show. But this episode is not really a discussion about abortion, because there is no diversity of views. The people are not given all sides of the issue.
Every person is saying the same thing, and having the same opinion, using the same cliches and catch-phrases of radical leftists and the 1960's and such.
It sounds like the eugenics of 1930's Germany.
This episode is not offensive, but it is tragic.
I'm willing to debate this issue if it ever comes up again.
