Quistes Ovario-Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) Left Ovary

Paciente que acude el día de hoy 05 de Noviembre de 2008 para que se le realize una ecogratrafía trans-vaginal de control, ya que ya que ven otro consultorio médico le detectaron un quiste en el ovario izquierdo de 30.0 x 30.0 milímetros, el día 15 de junio de este año y no recibió tratamiento alguno.
Al examen transvaginal, observamos el útero en anteverso flexión, de tamaño normal, con parénquima miometrial de ecogenicidad homogénea. No se observa saco gestacional.
La línea endometrial ecogénica (proliferativa) es de 13.2 mms

Tamaño útero = 84.3 x 34.5 milímetros de diámetros Longitudinal y Ántero-Posterior.

El ovario derecho es de tamaño normal y sin contenido anormal en su interior, Ecogenicidad homogénea. No se observan quistes.
El ovario izquierdo es de tamaño normal y con contenido anormal en su interior, observándose al inicio cuatro imágenes hipogénicas, correspondientes a quistes, y luego, revisándo mejor, logramos observar cinco imágenes hipogénicas los cuales midieron 4.5 x 2.5 mms, 2.3 x 1.3 mms, 3.3 x 1.9 mms, 3.5 x 1.4 mms y 1.6 x 1.3 mms.
Finalmente examinamos a la paciente, detectándo una infección de la vía urinaria.


Patient that there comes the day of today 05 November of 2008 so that we realize a trans-vaginal ultrasound of control, because of she already had seen another medical office and detected to her a "cyst" in the left ovary of 30.0 x 30.0 millimeters, on June 15 of this year and she doesn´t receive any treatment.
To the scan vaginal, we observe the womb in anteverso push-up, of normal size, with parénquima miometrial of echogenicity homogeneous. Gestacional Sack is not observed.
The endometrial line is echogenicy (proliferative) is 13.2 mm

Womb size is 84.3 x 34.5 millimeters of longitudinal and antero-later diameters.
The right ovary is of normal size and without abnormal content in the interior, echogenicity homogeneous. Cysts are not observed.
The left ovary is of normal size and with abnormal content in the interior, of echotexture hypogenic four images being observed to the beginning hypogenics, corresponding to cysts, and then, checking better, we manage to observe five images hipogenic images which measured 4.5 x 2.5 mms, 2.3 x 1.3 mms, 3.3 x 1.9 mms, 3.5 x 1.4 mms and 1.6 x 1.3 mms.
Finally we do the examination to the patient, detecting an infection of the urinary tract.

I just had a full radical abdominal hysterectomy for mt PCOS!!!! I had endometriosis and a prolapsed uterous from having my four kids! This was a very hard surgery ( i am 4 weeks post-op) so i am still recovering!!!! Good luck and hope you are well!

Hola! Todo depende si tienes la Condición llamada SOP, no necesariamente si tienes quistes ováricos eres infértil.
