Démonstration de Karaté Shotokan au Japon, en 1946. On y voit notamment Masatoshi Nakayama ainsi qu'Isao Obata. Ce film a été réalisé par Donn. F. Draeger.

  • Love it.

  • This is Takudai Karate Club, not Shotokan Dojo

  • Very cool. Like the kusanku jump kick after 5 mins! Neat application. These guys were in great form.

  • thanks best of the best. the old school. oss. bow.

  • Nakayama sensei looks like a teenager here.

  • As the war ended in 1947 it is unlikely that the dojo was bombed in 1947

  • A year later (1947), this same dojo would be destroyed in a bomb raid. Imagine that... I know this is not the original Shotokan dojo, but Takushoku University dojo (Takudai).

  • Shihan M.Nakayama at his best, the fast movements lets me know who the instructor is. RIP

  • Amazing footage, thank you OSU!
