Love how people whine when a song gets remade, but does not realize, it ALSO aids the original song, by bringing attention to it. Lou Bega put his own touch to it, so its not a copy paste job, and he is not trying to top the original, show me where he states this.

THANK YOU for this excellent clip. its interesting to look at this in a musical history sense. this piece originated after world war one, and has been covered continually ever since. to review it in context, pull up the versions chronologically. bing crosby, louis armstrong, then louis prima who rearranged it into a big band / early rock piece. then david lee roth. seen in this perspective, mr brega spun it latin / mambo and BLEW IT UP with great style and feel, contiuing a great legacy. thanks
