Looks a ton more fun to fly than the 152. I was flying a 152 all summer in Texas with an instructor so we were at max take off the whole time. No fun at all
I don't remember the stall speed exactly anymore, since it's been over a year since I've flown them. I do remember it being well less than 40 mph, though.
Cruise about 100 mph, Rotax 912 100 HP, 21 gal fuel, 650 lbs empty. Takeoff distance @ SLand 1320 lbs (gross) about 400 feet, climb 800 to 1200 FPM depending in weight. Have landed it in 150 feet and shortest takeoff about the same. (Half fuel and 140 lb pilot)
Hi guys. I'm the guy flying in the vid. They are a lot of fun. Or were. I have 40 hours in the Remos, mostly test and demo flights. It will fly very slowly...capable of 60 degree banked level turns at 38MPH. The slowest I ever got was 28MPH with the nose way up and about half power. Well mannered, but the a/c was plagued by pilots and mechanics who do not understand the engine. I was also a mechanic on them and built them up before they were distributed on the west coast.

Now that's a weird looking plane. I'd rather fly a Cessna 152.

No tower, although it would was absolutely no problem doing formation takeoffs and landings at nearby Chino.
