15 yrs to make a shit album,used to love gnr,..I could spend a five dollar cover charge ona friday night to see a cover band called mr brownstone,and get the same feeling that i would when they tour and the tickets are 125 apiece,fuck u axl..u ruined what coulda been the greatest rock band ever...

@vaughaning bueno, está bien, ya sé que una banda no es sólo su nombre, pero me refiero a que si siguiera teniendo el mismo nombre, que al menos sea un estilo parecido como para rendirle un "homenaje"... pero bueno, tal vez haya algunas canciones buenas, pero es que escuché como 5 canciones de chinese democracy y las 5 me parecieron horribles, sin contar el hecho que el guitarrista (Buckethead) me parecio mucho peor tambien, su estilo electronico es horrible, para mi...

I know. I'm Mexican and I hate that too. Now we're reading the same page, that really sucks. That does, but this? ¿? @Karabiner07 On the other hand, music should be beyond a name, and Slash and company know that, that's why they came up with Velvet Revolver. I like Velvet Revolver too. I think that would be the point. If somebody thinks like that, and they prefer the style and the talent of Slash and Duff, well then go and listen to Velvet. That's ok. Nobody is forced to hear something you don't want to, but saying that this sucks just for that seems a little too much unfair to me. But then there you go.

@Karabiner07 I understand that point, but the fact is, Axl is the owner of the name GNR, and sadly if you want, that's a fact. Legally there is nothing Slash and company would have done. What you talk is to me, an emotional feeling, and I agree with you, but the reality is that somebody has to register a name when you have a band, or a product, whatever it is there has to be an owner, and in this case is Axl, and there is nothing you or me could do about it. You know it's sad but true :D

@vaughaning and yes, vaughaning, i agree with you that there are some worse "bands" than the actual GN'R, Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, Miliey Cyrus, and don't even make me start with the "latin hip hop/rap", here (Argentina) we call it reaggeton, it's just the worse shit you could ever imagine to hear in your nightmares

anyway, i know this isn't the worst band, but c'mon... i just miss them, slash and izzy don't diserve to see some lunatic saying he's GN'R

@vaughaning first of all, their music style is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, and i think that a band sucks when their music has touched that point

second, the best talent of GN'R was in: Izzy, Slash and Axl. Ok they changed, and they all argued but it turns out they all argued with the same guy (Axl), which means the problem is with him, not with them, so he shouldn't be on stage pretending he's GN'R when he's the one who should have left it, Izzy and Slash should have stayed

@Karabiner07 I just realize you're 14. I have nothing against teenagers, I was a teenager too. I saw GNR and Metallica when I was your age, maybe I was 16 or so. Now I'm 36, yes I have grown up. I'm not a cranky old man, but I'm not 16 anymore neither. I've seen a lot of bands, from Creedence, Motley Crue, the Rolling Stones, Metallica, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Dream Theater, etc. and the great GNR from the 90's. Yes they were the shit, but this is good too, 2 me at least

@Karabiner07 I bet that if those guys saying that this sucks would have heard this from a suposed different band would be saying "Oh it sounds pretty cool, has an old school feeling".. but as all of them see is GNR they just automatically say It sucks Why? Yes I miss Slash too, I saw GNR back in the 90's, a concert I will never forget, but u have to move on and this is the new GNR and is great. I'll be waiting for a solid point that make me believe this suck, until then I say NO, IT DOESN'T SUCK

@Karabiner07 Yes I can argue that. As I said before, tell me a solid argument to consider the actual G'NR suck. Tell me one. Just saying "It sucks" means nothing to me. Listen 2the production. Listen 2the guitar. Listen 2the voice. Why it sucks. You know who sucks? Justin Bieber, The Jonas Brothers. That is crap. Those are guys were made behind a desktop by people wearing ties and stuff. Why the actual GN'R suck. Tell me one valid and solid point... Just because there isn't is Slash? C'mon!
