HOSANNA is from Phil Driscoll's "I Exalt Thee 1998" album. Hosanna! The Messiah has come!
Psalm 118: 22_29
22 The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;
23 the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.

25 LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success!

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. From the house of the LORD we bless you.[b]
27 The LORD is God, and he has made his light shine on us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up[c] to the horns of the altar.

28 You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you.

29 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

  • One thing you can bet on is that I am flat out sick and tired of this joke that Christianity has become in the USA. But this song reduced me to tears. The pictures, the image of Jesus (with the crown of thorns) embedded in the lion @1:29 turned by backbone into jelly. The Lion of the tribe of Judah still lives today. The lukewarmth of Christianity is sickening, but the presence of the Lord is refreshing, soothing, healing, calming, and FANTASTIC. BeanScot, you're a gem. Thanx!

  • More than 'music', the power of the Holy Spirit, free to flow through the heart and trumpet of Phil Driscoll, is apparent by the immediate affect of humbling and bowing the spirit of every hearer in breathless silence in awe and worship at the feet of the Lamb that was slain Who is the King of glory. May Christ be known, received, worshiped and obeyed by every soul on earth welcoming His return as King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus Christ, Hope of the world. Hope in Him alone. Walk with Him.
