Dedicated to all the Celtics fans, from a Lakers fan.
From the documentary Larry Bird - A Basketball Legend. The best sport - basketball documentary i have seen. For me Larry Bird is the most admirable basketball player of all time, my second preferred player after Wilt Chamberlain, the greatest.

this is very, very gracious from a Lakers fan. it was very difficult, and still is very difficult, to acknowledge success from the other side (Lakers or Celitcs) in this rivalry. years after this rivalry, I had frienfds tell me they had Lakers fans who had to walk out of the room if the Celtics were beating the Lakers. It was that hard to deal with the other team winning.
I'm not sure Magic couldn't hold a candle to Bird. That's not a put down to Bird. It was just these two guys were both spectacular, generational players, everyone knew it, and the fight was on, for about eight years. Both of their greatness was what defined their era and what made the rivalry so superb.
to be honest with u dude, magic cant hold shit to bird. the lakers were a better team as a whole because they had better talent. if u look at the skills, bird was a better passer, shooter, scorer, and rebounder. bird literally took his team to to three titles. look at magics rosters around him. so much more talented than the celts which is why they one more. bird was heads and heals above magic in individual performance though, and ur an idiot if u dont see that.
i'm gonna be completely honest.. in all the times i've gone on youtube and all the youtube videos i've seen, it has never been more obvious that a person has no idea what they are talking about than after reading your comment. i just don't get why you pretend that you do...
The finals (1986) showed a lot o f nice post movements with Mc Hale and Olajuwon, but those Celtics (and their team game) were miles away from the young Rockets. And Bird really took the forward position to the perfection in history in every sense (except muscle).
Otra cosa, felicidades "Wilt" porque es la primera vez que veo estos reportajes traducidos.
Yeah and MJ never had 4 HOF on the same team in the 80's. In fact he got knocked out by two of the best teams in history (Pistons and Celtics) Each with all star casts.

"bird literally took his team to to three titles.... (lakers) so much more talented than the celts."
i'm not good at decoding retards' writing, but it sounds like you're suggesting bird had no help (supporting cast)...
lol larry bird had at least 4 hall of famers on his team
you obviously haven't got a clue
