Perhaps yours was the less stressing choice for the customer and besides, you can still remove it later, once the skin is healed. Good choice. :)

mrsexehall, you don't soak in remover, you soak in "acetone", most removers available these days are non acetone and would nor budge an acrylic nail.

do acrylic nails hurt?
I'm getting mine done for the first time for a formal dance at my school I'm nervous about it! I'm getting them done the day before is that a too soon?? I need some general advice about getting acrylic nails.

ok ive got a question for you im a guy and i play guitar fingerstyle (fingerpicking) also i play electric so strong nails are needed i repeatedly break the nail on my first finger is there a way to strengthen and or repair the nail so that it might be strong enough to play if so what products would i need
