Chinese New Year Fireworks at Drum & Bell Towers, Beijing

The chaos that is Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) in all its Beijing glory! I arrived at the square between the Drum and Bell Towers in Beijing about 30 minutes before midnight, which is what you see in the first shot. The video then cuts to about 2 minutes before the start of the Year of the Ox. All my clothing reeks of sulfur this morning...
