These videos have been made to provide you with an additional resource to help with your clinical skills practice. These have been designed as interactive learning exercises. There are two ways of interacting with the resource:

[1] To help understand the model of practice

Download the 'Cognitive Therapy Scale' and rate the therapist's competence using this scale whilst watching the video. You may also want to consider ' what worked well?' and ' what could have been done differently? '

[2] To practice the skills

Download a blank template for each intervention. Whilst watching the video record the clinically relevant information on the template as if you were in a session with this client. You will be prompted to start writing when the transition screen appears. At the end of the video you will be able to download a model answer to compare with what you recorded.

Exemplars:
Introductions, Summarising sessions
Interventions:
Timeline / Looking Back, Exploring Ambivalence, Functional Analysis, Problem Solving, Beliefs & Concerns, Looking Forward, Relapse prevention
