This lyrics were written by a briliant man called Frank Smith from Frank Smith Products. He had recording studio in Jolimont Melbourne and was one of the first to have an 8 track recorder.His technician was Gil Matthews who was a drummer for Billy Thorp . The original music was Up Up and Away by the Fifth Dimensions

For your information Australian Airlines never flew in PNG and Qantas ceased operating in PNG in 1960 when TAA took over
