For all those negative comments toward the video, you people are so rude and ignorant. I understand that you are upset about her Shaving the dog but she obviously did not know. It was her way to keep it protected from the heat. Im not saying shaving dogs for the summer is a good thing but it was HER WAY, HER DOG!! This video was made in FUCKING 2008. My groomer accidentally shaved my husky. It is not what I wanted... How long does it take to grow back? I understand if you want to do it.. It is fine. I miss my doggie looking like a wolf though. :-( As a you tuber, I would not listen to the negative comments. People are just rude...

@yaltamirano12 you're not supposed to shave huskies.. your groomers don't know what they're doing. when you shave a husky they're prone to more skin cancer and other things... their coat protects them during summer and winter

Actually the top coat is what cools down the husky in the summer, dogs don't cool down the same way as us. With out the top coat the dog is at a high risk of heat stroke and huskies to have the right pigmentation to protect them from the sun. Petsmart employees are never as smart as they make themselves out to be, you should always go into a pet store with research under your belt. I don't mean this to sound harsh, I don't think you're an idiot for shaving your husky.

The reason why you don't shave a husky is because they need their coats for the winter and the summer. all dogs get hot but they know how to cool themselves by digging or laying dogs are not stupid people are. People are very ignorant and very very stupid. I do not believe the coat comes back the same not for one second.But like I said people are stupid!!!!!!!to do such a thing.
