  • @owaisinus You will see story lines repeat themselves over the years even in other promotions like in TNA when they did The Miami SCREWJOB Like bret did in wwf/Wwe!

  • can anyone explain why the decision was reversed when I.R.S originally won the match? you don't see decisions reversed today in wwe where most of the matches are being won due to outside interference...

  • I didn't know Earl Hebner was doing his screwjob business back then too... I.R.S was the original winner of this match... he should have had a intercontinental title run...

  • @HugeDickNick Please man, that was the perfect gimmick at the time. Who better to pair with the Million Dollar Man than the Tax Man?! Money Inc was one of the coolest tag teams (gimmick-wise). They were like yin and yang.

  • Mike Rotundo was such a talented wrestler its to bad that he is best remembered for the lame IRS character.

  • You know what I find funny? Earl Henber is preventing a screwjob here.

  • For those wondering why Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon were calling this match instead of Vince McMahon and Ted DiBiase...

At the time, the World Wrestling Federation did radio broadcasts of their PPVs, and JR and the Gorilla were the radio commentators. They switched jobs with Vince & Teddy for this one match.

They had also done a switcheroo before, at the 1993 Survivor Series, where JR and Gorilla called the SMW Tag Team Championship match on TV, and Vince & the Brain called it on radio.

  • HOLY OVER-SELLING BATMAN!

  • Fuerza Scott repuperate......

  • @Abe9096 yup they did, except for this match (and how come DiBiase was in the commentator's booth?)
