Brutus was diagnosed with 2 bulging discs in his back in May. Basically, to make a long story short, we're not sure when this came along, but after months of trying to pin point exactly what his problem was(he had slowed down ALOT and was jumping funny. You can tell this if you watch the one standard run compared to the other runs), we were finally able to. He has been, and is now undergoing a lot of rest and rehab and is slowly improving. Thankfully the bulging is not bad enough for surgery, but we're not sure if agility will ever be in his future again. As much as I'd love to run my boy again, my only goal right now is to get him healed.
I am so thankful for such an amazing dog. He must of run with pain in his back multiple times, and he never once complained. He is the true definition of a dog with Heart. Thanks Bru(:
Enjoy every moment and run with your doggies, you never know when it will be your last.
Thanks for watching(:
Oh, I had no idea. I'm sorry to hear this, and hope that the rest and rehab continues to to make him feel better. I hope he can eventually run in Preferred too.

Sorry that this happened to both of you.....but, as hard as it is to think about right now....we were both darn lucky to have the experience of walking to the line with AMAZING dogs :))
I'm hoping that you guys aren't done writing your wonderful story :)

I'm so sorry you might not be able to run agility with your handsome boy again. The two of you have accomplished so much and done so well at the highest level of competition - congratulations for that, and I hope you get to experience that again with Brutus, or with another dog under Brutus's supervision :) Best wishes to you and Brutus for a speedy, full recovery!!

Thankyou very much. It means alot. I hope to one day be able to run him again. Hopefully, if anything, he'll be able to run in Preffered. that way he can do what he lives to do(:
