Gta4 Freeze XBox 360

Grand Theft Auto 4 randomly freezes my XBox 360. I never mentioned it but I just traded in my 360 for a new arcade version right after I filmed this in may of last year, cause I was not about to Not play GTA because of this. Should be all happy now, right? Got my first red rings yesterday on the new arcade 360 with a mfr's date of 3/08. Oh well, I needed a gaming break anyway.

mine kept freezing so i got a brandnew gta and it still freezes. best game and it fucking dont work :@:@

Hate to say it but you might need to get a new 360. That's what I did. It was a pain to do it but the upside is that now I have an HDMI port.

only happens to me on Gta IV...all my other games like Halo 3 and shit work fine...

Myself and many others have the exact problem.

Over at the GTA IV forums there's a popular, useful thread about GTA IV freezing on the Xbox 360 after the NXE update. It's entitled "Widespread Recent GTA IV Freezing (360 Users)" if you want to google it since Youtube won't do links.

@jpmcruiser95 same thing except i bought it at walmart it freezes at various times sometimes at 5 mins other times ingame for 25-30 mins into the fucking game. and of course the minority bitches at walmart refuse to give me my money back! Cheap Bastards.

I just downloaded the full game from xbox live, and its updated and everything, and literally every 5 minutes it freezes and i must manually turn of my xbox. I've deleted it and I am redownloading it now, so this better work.

but i don't know what I'm gonna do if this doesn't fix it. I cant get my money back, and I just really want to play the freakin game

I have completed gta 4 4 times now with my '07 xbox elite and never had this kinda issue. im no fanboy but im glad i didnt have to go through this shit!
