This is the first test of my graphics game engine.

Instantaneous LCD hardware scrolling. (LCD chipset).
Touchscreen, very fast tiles engine.

- 2.8" color LCD (8bit mode, 320*240 pixel, tactile)
- PIC24HJ128GP204 (128ko, 8ko ram, 80mhz)

  • I used the LGDP4531 (It's similair with ILI920) (I found it on Ebay)

    yes, the controler does the hardware scrolling, it's very fast because I don't refresh the screen (I change only one line)

    I have not added a "player" on my game. I think on this LCD, a background buffer is missing.

    I stopped the project, but i give you my driver source code.

  • What LCD controller do you use?

    The chip does the scrolling, right ? So you don't clear the display for each frame, but

    what happens when you add some animation (for example, the player moving on the screen),

    can you still get a good framerate?

  • @MrArkham666 Explain why you think it's fake. Something like this isn't to hard to program given you have the know how to do so.
