A tutorial on how to make Lego Extreme Tracks in Acclaim's old R/C PC Game Re-Volt. I could have went more in-depth on how to retexture the lego walls, etc. but this is more of a starter.

For more information on Re-Volt and tech support please visit the Wiki: http://revolt.wikia.com

And for a site hosting custom tracks visit:

  • 1. Enter name as MAKEITGOOD and press enter *honking noise occurs*

    2. Press Esc twice and go to bottom of menu. It will be called "Edit Mode"

    3. Use left or right arrow keys to choose the edit mode.

    4. Go back to top of list and choose single race.

    5. Find your USERTrack in the list of tracks and edit it.

The trick is simply choosing the edit mode first then choosing the single race mode...

  • how to rotate a object

  • Spacebar. Press it to rotate the objects called "modules". All the other keys are told by pressing F1 too, such as variants of track pieces, moving the screen etc. :)

  • hey how did u get to go to the track u made under the code MAKEITGOOD .... it won't let me go to the track i made when i swich to objects and all that.

  • Once you have chosen an edit mode, go up and Choose the racetype as "Single Race" and it will be displayed on the track selection screen.

    Hope this helps.

  • Where can I download re-volt for free and that actually works?

  • I've tried adding the objects in "edit Mode" but i can't seem to get any other objects than a ball! Also, how do you get to the "SkyBox" Object?

  • ah, also my track editor doesn't load the textures, it's all white! Can you help me? (PS: When i export the tracks and run on it, the textures are there)

  • @MetalLica0007 Ah! I Think you didn't saved, Hold Ctrl and press F4, A Window should appear, press OK.

If you already did that, i don't know what's your problem.

  • @EricUnreal Insert an object, then find "SkyBox" Object, press down to make the arrow be set to "skymap changer" then press left and right arrows to select the skymaps:

Neighborhood = Toys in the Hood skymap. (original day skymap)

Ship 1 = Toytanic 1 skymap (the day sky beyond the sea)

Ship 2 = Toytanic 2 skymap (the night sky with rain beyond the sea)

Wild West = Ghost Town skymap (the day and wild west like sky)

    hope that helps.

  • @devilsin12 first off all, isn't maked, is Made. And second, he showed us, clearly how to add.

All in caps for you not to distract:

    1. TYPE IN MAKEITGOOD THE CODE FOR EDITING MODES.

    2. INSTEAD OF GOING TO SINGLE PLAYER SELECT EDIT MODES, AND SELECT OBJECTS.

    3. FIND YOUR TRACK AND GO IN.

4 PRESS F4 TO ENTER EDITING MODE

    5. PRESS INSERT TO ADD AN OBJECT AND ARROWS TO CHANGE THEM

    6. WHEN YOU'RE DONE, PRESS CTRL+F4. A MESSAGE SHOULD APPEAR. CLICK OK.

    7. GO BACK AND SELECT EDITING MODE "NONE". Ready.

  • cant find any track iv made

  • not working

  • @cpmanuu It means your track isnt forming a loop (full track from start around to the start) or has and upwards step (a piece too far up/down) the cursor will be placed at the last valid position (the editing square where you press enter to place the piece, will be at the piece that isnt right) Hope this helped...
