RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

1.5kg Potatoes (Washed and Peeled)
500g Diced Bacon
500g Grated Cheese
600ml Thickened Cream (Heavy Cream)
1 Brown Onion (Peeled and Diced)
Salt and Pepper (for seasoning)
2 Teaspoons of Minced Garlic (about 2-3 Cloves of Fresh Garlic)


Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes


ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
(Look up Google for a conversion chart if using Imperial)

  • Hi David, im one of your new subscribers, ive been watching your video's for a while. Because of you, I had to rush to the supermarket to buy some ingredients to finally make my first proper dish in my life which is this potato bake. Its currently cooling down out of the oven now and hopefully it tastes as good as it looks :) top work champ

  • what kind of cheese did you use?

    because I was thinking of making this dish for my flatmates and I was thinking of using grated cheddar cheese , do you think that'll do or do you recommend using a certain kind of cheese?!

    btw I'm only asking because my laptop's speakers stopped working so I can't hear what you're saying =(

    3 pounds of potatos

  • I dont know why. But I love the color and shape of your eyes. :D I am in America so I have to convert alot of these recipes but I love them. ;) I am currently in Culinary school and watching cooking videos and the cooking channel on my TV is really beneficial in that.

  • I just made this with chicken instead of bacon, because we will have Iranian guests. Do you think it will be ok that way?
