@TheStinkyHindu Yeah, that seems to be a problem these days. People don't seem to want to think when they play a game and that's what makes the Myst games so great. Puzzles and story shouldn't be underrated like that. As for the "slow" gameplay this guy mentions, I never had a problem with it - gave the player more time to get immersed in the world of Riven.

@ajbboom He's playing it on a Playstation, which would explain why everything's moving slower than molasses during the winter.

WTF is this guy talking about? Motionless? Static? Boring? What is he smoking? Riven is, to date, the BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. No joke. It is incredibly immersive, to the point where you can really imagine yourself being there. The videos are just the icing on the cake. (More)

(cont'd) The only reason it would take any measurable amount of time to send a cursor across the screen or move to the next image is if you have a shitty computer, which I think this guy does. When I want to, I can really zip through the landscape, although it's much more fun to take it all in.
