The Comandante Song

A clip from 1x08 episode of Disney's Zorro,

That's how the soldiers enojoyed themselves instead of keeping an eye on Don Diego as the Comandante Monastario had ordered. Diego decieved them, offering some refreshments (and they of course didn't had anything against a glass of wine or two) and then sneaked out to dress as Zorro and save his father, who was pursued by Captain Monastario and his lancers.

Comandante Monastario came back to de la Vega's hacienda just about the time to hear Sergeant Garcia's 'The Comandante Song'. Definietely one of my favorite scenes from this great tv show. One of the soldiers here (without mustache) will become Corporal Reyes in later episodes.

There is more funny scenes in this tv show, especially when Sergeant Garcia and Corporal Reyes combine forces. They are like Flip and Flap!

I love this song! :-) It gets stuck in my head for days and months at a time. Capitan Monastario was my favorite of Zorro's foes. I just wonder what punishment Sergeant Garcia received for singing about his commanding officer...even if it was another commandante he had a long time ago. :-)
