Anyone beyond the age of five years who could take this video seriously is probably deranged. Shall we only "do good" because of the fear of eternal punishment? Religion as fire insurance ... what a great motivator.

Son House was a former preacher who quit to play "blues", which most Christian country folk of the time believed was the Devil's music. From all the evidence we have, Son House heard his young protege Robert Johnson playing well, so he stole his crowd and chased him out of town to snuff his new-found competition. House probably used his former religious "authority" to invent the legend of Johnson "selling his soul" just to vilify Johnson and protect his own business.

surely if it were true he'd have played more like Jimi Hendrix. A load of balls, selling his soul, catch yourselves on.

You should be embarrassed and ashamed for even thinking about pedaling such hogwash - much less actually doing it !!!
