OC mother Gina Cousineau and her daughter Mary, share the journey they were taken on as they fought for son/brother Evan's life when he was diagnosed on May 1, 2007 with a metabolic genetic disease called Adrenoleukodystrophy. Though they lost Evan due to complication to his double cord blood transplant, they now give HOPE to patients in need by educating, raising awareness and providing opportunities for donation of all capacities. • Amen! Awesome story! God has plans and you followed them :-)

    Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

And you will see Evan again.....he is just waiting for you!!

I live in Minnesota by the way (in the Twin Cities) and I am thankful for Children's Hospital and the U of M and Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Many lives are saved here! You are special people :-)

  • Amazing video Gina!!! I keep praying for your family!! You have done a great job with your kids...especially Mary!! Does CA still just put donor dots on drivers licenses? Here in CO they actually put a heart with donor in the middle printed right on the drivers license...nothing to lose. Praying the Cousineau has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Hugs to you!!!
