Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Gameplay

This was as short game I played specifically to try to show some ascpects of the gameplay.
Basically, the GDF (Global Defence Force) which are the human team had to, as one of their objectives, move an MCP (Mobile Command Post), basically a giant tank, to a certain area to capture that area.
I was playing as the Strogg, the alien invaders. My goal was to stop the GDF from getting their MCP to where it should go until the time limit ran out.

Quake Wars maps are all based off a similar concept. One team has to complete objectives in the time limit whilst the other has to stop. These objectives range from constructing a bridge to moving an MCP. From planting a charge on a barricade to hacking shield generators.

The gameplay also includes heavily the use of vehicles, as seen in the video also. The first one I use, for example, is used to travel large distances quickly and to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.

No. It's a full retail game. I got mine for about $45.

Acekiller is right! No matter when you decide to hop onto ET:QW you can find a game going on! (On the PC. That's the console I've got it on)

Is it the same as W:ET multiplayer which your exp is saved on servers that you joined and donated in order to save all your exp and ranks? Or the exp and ranks that you earned saved locally??? Its annoyingly frustrating to play online when you have to earn back everything you did last night lol.

can u play this online without the retail? And I don't really get it.. Is it Wolfenstein, is it Quake? Or a completely new game? wtf :D.
