Darkest Hour - First Look

This is my first look at Darkest Hour, a grand strategy title developed by fans, for fans (Fernando Torres being the key member of the team) and published by Paradox Interactive. It runs on the Europa Engine, which is very similar to Hearts of Iron 2. You can control any nation in the world that existed during the timeline in the game.

For 10 euros, this gem of a game is a bargain. Go and buy it now on GamersGate or Impulse if you're a fan of grand strategy games.

Hello, I have hearts of iron 3 but my computer can't really handle it.

So I was gonna buy hearts of iron 2 complete but recently I saw that this game 'darkest hour: a hearts of iron game' exists too. And there's also a game called arsenal of democracy: a hearts of iron game.

Now my question is which one is best to buy and why?

@leemanu94 Darkest Hour is the newest and most supported I believe. It's longer, and it has more scenarios as well (can even play WW1 on it). The map is better as well, so yes, I'd personally go for that one.

4:50 WTF? It has something to do with WW1. That picture is actually a stamp. I'm romanian and I know what it writes there. It writes : Romanian Post 20 LEI: The Holy War against Bolshevism".

funny, primorska is named capodistria.... weird because that area is under slovenian control and it should be named in slovenian language, like maribor and ljubljana is.

1st look: amazing

2nd: disappointment - the game is full of bugs... -_-

plus: i wanted to win the 1st world war as germany and then play the 2nd world war as a fascist france. not possible. -_-
