I've been using Armor All Wheel Protectant for over a year and it has worked great! So, I decided to do a test and document it on video to make sure it wasn't just my imagination. This is the result of that test...

  • Why are you showing how it works on a wheel that is already clean?

  • @Soulja4Jesus2001 Because that's what the stuff is for. This isn't wheel *cleaner*. It's wheel *protectant*. It keeps the wheels from getting dirty.

  • i boght this as well

but please note that when spraying A LOT as you said, it starts turning into drops of liquid, and when it dries it leaves spots on the rims !

now i am not sure if ive done something wrong or if this thing is just not that good

but I have sprayed it on the rims while the car parked at the street, and left it over night for many hours, what have i done wrong ?!

  • good job, thanks!

  • I came to YouTube! looking for a review of this product, and yours more than fit the bill. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

  • Very thorough and well produced review... thanks!

  • I bought this stuff for my 08 BMW 328i coupe and it works wonders repealing the seemingly endless amounts of break dust from my rims. I have the sport package (18") rims, which has even more spokes than the car in this video. You have to be really liberal with this stuff and I usually go through 1/2 a can after each use. It's worth every penny though not having to wash my rims every couple of days. Thanks for posting this video.

PS beautiful car by the way!

  • Watched this video, bought the product on clearance at Target, tried it out on two cars. This stuff didn't seem to work at all. My wife's CX-9 looked just as bad as it normally did after a week of around town driving. My Mazda 6 which I upgraded to ceramic pads look no different than it normally did either and I sprayed the bejeezus out of the wheels with this stuff.

Tried going out and getting more of the product and all retailers in my area seemed to have discontinued stocking this product.

  • As a Range Rover Sport SC driver, oh boy do I need this stuff. My only problem is when I spray the wheel with water, that brake dust leaves big, black marks on my concrete! Thanks for the vid.

  • I buy mine rim protector from the states. i rather pay 7 bucks than 12.99 plus tax for it in vancovuer bc lol if u don't clean the brake dust off, and the wheel starts to get hot, it'll cause the dust to start to stick permenantly on the wheel.
