(Chapter from Katies point of view)

I have blood all over my hands. Im trying to keep it from coming out of Mels wound. Shes breathing with difficulty and very loudly. She coughs and blood comes out of her mouth. Shes crying, me too.


- Kats, She tries to say
- Shhh, its okay. Dont talk, I say
- Iloveyou, she slowly says before spitting more blood out and she passes out.

I dont know what to do anymore. Were the hell are the policemen and ambulance guys!? I look around. Will is standing over me and looks like he doesnt know where to put himself. He always fights with Mel but I know he loves her very much. Marco is in front of the guy who dropped his gun and looks shocked by what he just did.

- Im..Im sorry! I didnt mean tooHe starts
- Well you did! Marco says

I turn around.

- Maybe shes going to DIE because of you! Do you understand! I scream threw my tears.
- Im sorry, I
- Save it! I yell
- We really have to get her outta here! Will says
- Please! I say to the guy

He looks down and mumbles something.

- What? Marco asks
- GO! He screams

We dont let him repeat it twice. Marco and will each put one of Mels arms around their neck and grab her under the knees. I follow behind them as we run out.
