i kinda figured, couldent be sure. i have never seen that kinda design for a heater before. usually they were just a black box under the dash.

Sold it to a friend, he sold it to a friend of his, and I think the car was used for parts for multiple restorations.

That's a heater. Pretty sure it was an option. I owned the car for a couple of years.
