  • sir are you a filipino? by the way i would like to ask how can i become a us air force chef because im planning to enter the air force by next year..thanks a lot

  • Yes, I am Filippino.

In the US military on the enlisted side you can sign up to be a member of the old Services/Force Support Career Field in which you can start earning an Assosciates Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and then move up to getting your Batchelors degree.

Don't get discouraged at first because you will have to start from the bottom to work your way up. In the military it will take a couple of years to earn rank and responsibility and get culinary certifications.

  • In time and as your military career progresses and you make rank you will have oppertunity to cook at the Joint Chief of Staff Mess at the Pentagon "IF" you stay out of trouble and get the needed recommendation letters required or you could also apply for Enlisted Aid which is taking care of culinary, catering, and other events of Air Force Generals. Selection to both duties are strict and require endorsment letters and a clean military record.

  • More info can be found in my culinary website:

    homechefs (dot) us

  • Good luck to you younutter09. I am not sure of the Army Culinary curriculum since I am a US Air Force Culinary professional. US Army and United States Air Force Culinary are different from one another.

More information about United States Air Force Culinary can be found on my culinary website at homechefs-dot-us

  • well done loven it thanks for the tips. But heres one for you. u coulda deglazed the pan and used the juices as a nice warm glaze some real full body red wine and a little balsamic vinager u could add some port to but it depends on ur taste buds. well done tho i am loven it hope to be in the army soon......... more vids please?

  • Good luck on your Army endeavor. You get to see the world being in the military. Be safe and listen to your instructors because the training they teach you could save your life when you deploy to Iraq for a 14 months.
