Just go and ask Clinton because the exact samething happened to him in 94. When a reccession hit us under Clinton his approval was extremely low and his presidency was in danger. The only thing that saved him was the balanced budgedt proposed by the Republican congress. Clinton was then forced to take a moderate stance on the issues.

A sad night for you......grow up.....I hate it when people look at the previous elections, and start bitching at how sad that night was......it makes you libs look even more pathetic.... Bush was elected get over it, am I bitching about Obama? No, and I am enjoying how he is being avoided by his own party. I maybe dissapointed about the loss in 08, but hey it was a predictable loss, and Republicans knew it was coming.

Clinton deregulated the economy. It was Bush and McCain who warned the democrats about a future economic crisis. What Reagan did was bring back the days from the Roaring 20s. Cut taxes, shrink government spending, and halted growth of government. If you think the private sector needs regulations then obviously you never had a private sector job.
