Wow, finally. Since I have been thinking about the past and watching retro TV commercials/broadcasts on Youtube, I've been trying to remember the camp commercial shown on NY TV back in the 80's. It's Young People's Day Camp. As I kid I wanted to go, but never did. We lived in PA but still got the local NY stations (WPIX, WNYW, and WWOR). I remember the day camp commercial was shown a lot during morning cartoons before school. Thanks!

@MSTS1 The typeface is called Eastern Souvenir, created in the late 1910s; ITC released their version, ITC Souvenir, in the early 1970s and continues to be used today.

LOL, I remember the Young People's Day camp commercial with the talking yellow balloon. Corny, yet funny at the same time.

@joker5339 Same here, although I like how WPIX added network affiliation to their station without really changing anything, they're the only former NYC independent that still has that local New York City feel. Fox doesn't seem to care to want to do something retro for either Fox 5 or My 9.

Does anyone know the movie in the second part of the clip? the one before the John Wayne clip.
