sr3 is still being updated and is having new (awsome) dlcs made for it though so you cant say its worst until sr4.

@BigBoy5188 is not so important. i mean if you wanna know how the 3rd Street Saints growed up & how you meet your 2 friends Shaundi & Pierce then you should play SR2 & also for Gat but in terms on the history not because none of them have the same fights neither the same rival gangs.

@BigBoy5188 I would recommend playing the story of the first one, as you can get saints row 1 very cheap now. And in my opinion that one is the best. If you can try and play both. But the storyline is shit in the second and the third one. I would strongly recommend Saints Row 1 though.
