Stand hunting is good for kids on their first hunt, wouldn't you agree? I mean I took my first bear 2 years ago and Im 14 now. I can't imagine trying to do the hunt again spot and stalk with my crossbow.

I don't think hunting is cruel, I love to hunt. What I dont understand is why do people bait, or set up tree stands in one area and wait for the animal to come? Wheres the sport in that? I bet if a hunter has what it takes to get out there and hunt/stalk animals they would never go back to stationary hunting again. Deer follow trails just like humans, accept humans are going to have the advantage of the stalk. I believe thats enough of an advantage, it beats the hell out of sitting in a tree.
