Ryan and I do a well-known acid-base experiment with sodium bicarbonate and vinegar. The sodium bicarbonate reacts with the acetic acid in the vinegar to produce sodium acetate and carbonic acid - and the carbonic acid quickly decomposes into carbon dioxide and water, making an impressive fizz and filling our balloon up with the CO2.

And he decides to try drinking vinegar while he's at it. :)
