The Odd Planes of the Luftwaffe

This spine off of the three parter I have done takes in some of the prototypes and strange planes that have appeared on FS2004 for the Luftwaffe. So watch and see which you think looks the best the worst and down right wierd.

the 6th and the 7th airplanes are designs that was used after the war like the british "vampire" and the sovjet "Mig 17" so they aren't really that odd. and talking about old designs used today, look at the german Go 229 and the US B-2, how close aren't they? and going in on weapon design i think that the russians stole the "Sturmgewehr 44" and renamed it to "AK 47" after a few adjustments.

Firstly the first DH Vampire prototype was finished in 1944 before the flitzer was even seen by the allies. After the war the designers of the Flitzer where invited to see the Vampire and where suprised to see how much it looked like the flitzer. Anotherpoint on that is the Flitzer was never built. As for Hockbain yes it was belived to have been copied by the russias to make the Mig 15 and Mig 17. But the Hockbain also only got as far as scale testing. The Go 229 prototype only flew.

the third Arado wasnt odd at all, it was the first jet to go in service

The third plane in the video is actually the Henikel He280 which was designed to replace the Me262 which was the first Jet in service. they did build a prototype but that is as far as It got

Arado E555-1 and Ju287 were the prototypes of jet strategic bombers.
