Bayani Video Blog 1: A Filipino On Racism

Here, I talk about a recent event that happened to me and it resulted in this blog.

It's justified to be mad, angry, or protest racism. However, I think we need to get to the root of it and what we can do to better combat it, especially as it regards Filipinos.

There's a lot of arguing going on this thread. It's this type of negativity that has plagued our ancestors and prevented us from moving forward. We need to work together and not against each other. Let's be good examples for our community.

Filipino parents who choose to raise their children outside the Philippines should at least teach them the Filipino language. This is one thing I've noticed here in the US, half-filipinos and even full-blooded filipinos don't know how to speak the language!

Don't ever go to an island called Saipan because majority of the pure blooded islanders are freaken racist against Filipinos and Chinese. Right now, ITS A LIVING HELL over here. If you are true to yourself, don't come here because there are a lot of backstabbing bitzes here since they are just wanna be gangsters.

Who are we to define what's normal? Just cuz SOME people don't do something doesn't make it "not normal" for the whole world. That's the whole point of free will.

dnt play the victim here .... filipinos are racisct to the highest level.. qnd im half filipino.. and its not tribe hu kills dogs and cat , and they dnt live in remote island... man they slaughter them pets period!!!!!!

@kellystone84 Im pretty sure they are just "shy". Koreans in the Philippines also stick to themselves so I guess it's because of the same language the group share. I hope that we can stop bashing each other (filipinos and other asians). Why can't we just all reach out to one another and live peacefully? :)
