Oops...I goofed. I meant he was my instructor at Church of God State Bible Camp the year before it became ECBC. But they were planning to give credit for the courses we took in bible school. Can't remember if I studied under him both years I was there. But I had several courses under him. He was a true gift in the kingom of God. Loved his dry sense of humor. : )
Where is Brother Voorhis now? He was my instructor at East Coast Bible College. I just loved studying under him! : ) Would love to get another copy of his pamphlet, "Revelation." Do you know where I could buy another copy?
Yes, someone the other day was telling me they thought Bro. Voorhis was still alive. By the way this video was put together, I thought perhaps he had went on to his reward. Nothing wrong with eulogizing a man before he leaves this walk of life. I just found this music out of sorts for this kind of preacher. It might fit Ray H. Hughes since he's a far cry different from what he was 40 years ago. I didn't think Bro. Voorhis ever changed or wavered at all. I want that kind of testimony!
Dr. V. is very much alive and writing books for his Program. He remains a man with convictions that he would fight, champion, and die for if necessary. He is just the same as I remember him when I was a little girl. Check out his latest book called, "There is an Answer. The next one is called "My Declaration of Faith" (That should stir up a few folk (:) Dr. "D"
I pray they never use this kind of ewee goeee CCM music to eulogize me! It's too bad you can't find some old-fashioned music to eulogize an old-time holiness pentecostal preacher. Of course most of you backslid COG folks have thrown the old hymn books out the back door! I remember when we made fun of the Methodists for taking the blood out of their hymn books. The COG did worse than that. They just got rid of the hymnbook!

@billysbride They need to play an old choir clip of a holiness church singing "When the Home Gates Swing Open For Me" behind this man's testimony!

I am very proud to say that I attended just about every class he offered at East Coast Bible College. Will Martin, Class of 1996.
