Perez Bros use to come sing at VFW Dances out in Culver City back in the days...love all those great sounds from E.L.A. GROUPS.. love Huggies Bunnies too

@reneebrooks13 then you must know RUBEN MOLINA?
-
Of all the East LA groups, the Perez Brothers are my favorites! They actually took
a NYC doo wop by the New Yorkers 5 that was a killer to begin with and infused it with such LA soul that it blew it away!

@reneebrooks13 San Pedro and Wilmas (Wilmington) California. El Monte Auditorium, the Slave Hall in Pedro. The Knights of Columbus Hall, the Kabuki and many more. MidNighters maybe? This is great music I lost all my 45’s of the original versions. Art Laboe, Hunting with Hunter, The Wolfman, HuggyBoy, Los Angeles circa 1965.
