analog will always be better than digital. The only reason digital exists is for convenience, affordability, and efficiency. That's the whole point of technology.

Vinyl purists r just fanboys, 8-track tape is the best sounding medium to record onto.
All mediums have their good and bad points, for example who wants to spend out for new needles everytime you lend your decks out to a party coz of a drunk dj.
Music should be about people getting together and having a good time... sure equipment plays a part but there are some anal mothercunters out there who wrongly think they are special. A good tune will cut thru ALL the crap, be it analog or digital.
