  • I hope one day my kung fu is as good as this.

Chu Shong Tin is a great master, some of the comments below are ignorant and degrading. It's a shame . Everyone is entitled to their opinion, one of mine for example is that not everyone should be allowed to breed.

  • Don't just look from outside. He has a name call "King of Siu Lim Tau". His power is amazing. Now in this age, a 200 lb guy still cannot stop his tang sau. You cannot imagine his power unless you directly doing the sticky hand with him.

  • @jomushin7 They might come from Yip Man, but the reason why Yip Man allowed them to explore was because it can't be taught mechanically. And those who misinterpreted it, impart that 'mechanical' instruction to their followers. And they thought able to hit = I have mastered Wing Chun. Anyway, I'm glad tat u'd that enlightenment too, at least u stopped hurting ur body with the improper forms. Hope to discuss more with u in future.

  • @TheCloudXTraining Yeah Wing Chun is total. It is about heaven, human and earth. I am a masseur and I see the muscular dysbalances everywhere, too. esp. the neckarea. I just wnted to say WongShunLeung and Tsui Sheung Tin are from the same master Yip Man and everyone has a right to do his interpretation WSL - very ground to earth and fighting and Tsui Sheung Tin with a Qi concept. But I like your view. You can see very much external Wing Tsun in the western world. But for me it is a whole art.

  • @jomushin7 Hi, ur from Wing Tsun? It's ok, ur kind, we're just exchanging opinions, no worries. The research of Wing Chun tat I'm doing's beyond contemporary artists' understanding. I felt something wrong with W.C. tats why I had learned from many lineages. Corrupted Wing Chun has side-effect on us which leads to Body-Deformation along the spine & neck..Many chose to ignore unless they learn Yoga to feel the proper alignment of body.By right, all arts should result in same body-alignment.

  • @TheCloudXTraining Iam totally with you my friend. Maybe I will take a look at your blog. . I trained a lot Qi gong in my past and have an education in Tuina. For me the SNT is the most advanced and the most essential form in Wing Chun. ;) But no one in my lineage would agree about this I think. I didn't want to critize you. I just wanted to make a global statement. I don't know why I repeated to your text. I think it is good. Best wishes from a former student in the LT WT lineage. :D

  • @jomushin7 Hi, ur partially right. But definitely wrong about there's proper techniques to do wing chun. If only I could meet you, I would prove you. I have convinced existing Wing Chun students from other schools with my research and they agreed to my findings and some eventually quit from their schools. The understanding tat u've is external knowledge (stroke). Real martial art is about totality. U've to feel every bit of muscle,chi,position,sensation,etc.. U may read my blog to know more.

  • @TheCloudXTraining there is a single Wing Chun for every person. There is no need to say someone is doing it wrong. I think it is better to say everyone is doing it different, but not wrong. Maybe you can say someone is doing it good and another person better. But no one, even the beginners are doing it wrong in my opinion. Always stick to the "beginners mind" and you will never fail. All hail to the King of SNT.

  • @jwhitenstall Let me elaborate this. I've learned 3 to 4 kinds of Wing Chun. The way he positioned the punch, etc - is the most accurate due to natural instinct to express the strokes for a human body (if we were to protect & attack centerline). There are many 'masters' out there who had corrupted the forms. The side-effects are:scattered chi, tightness of muscle along spine, shoulders & neck. In summary,in this era, TST might be the only one who knows proper alignment for Wing Chun system.

  • I've a learned a few syllabuses of Wing Chun. And all of them are not equivalent to his. His Wing Chun is indeed pure & powerful. Those in the market are diluted & messed up. Especially the forms, total corruption. Really hope to learn from Master TST. He's one of the best.

  • His Hui Gree Lan Chow form is superb
