Teaser videoclip from Kitaro's LIVE IN AMERICA home video. The source was a VHS PAL video cassette captured with Windows Movie Maker. This live concert is based on the KOJIKI studio album, although it is much better than the original recording. It has approximately 55 minutes running time and comprises 7 musical pieces or movements:

Hajimari
Sozo
Koi
Orochi
Nageki
Matsuri
Reimei

I am not aware of a DVD edition (PAL or NTSC) of this live perfomance - which I would love to have - but there is a CD recording also from Geffen - which in this case I have.

  • He's brilliant! I've just discovered his stuff. I had first heard this in a sand art video and would watch it over and over again to hear this piece. Then i finally found out who the composer/performer was and i'm so glad i did. This stuff just reaches deep down and touches my soul like nothing i have ever heard before. I will be picking up his albums very soon.

  • I'm glad you've found what you're looking for.

  • This is Hajimari + Sozo

  • Yes it is. I forgot to mention that because the two music pieces fit so nicely and they are intrinsicaly joined in my mind. Thanks for the note.

  • KITARO NÃO É DESSE PLANETA,NEM DESSE SISTEMA SOLAR.SEU CORPO É HUMANO,MAS SUA ALMA PERTENCE AOS CEUS PARA ELEVAR NOSSAS ALMAS A ALTURAS NÃO ENCONTRADAS NESSE PLANETA FEITO DE PRIMATAS.KITARO ME LEMBRA AS LUZES DOS ANJOS, PENSAMENTOS DO AUTOCRIADOR,E QUANDO ALGUEM DEIXA O CORPO NA FEICIDADE DE IR AO PARAISO PERDIDO.É COMO O SORRISO DE BUDA E YESHUA,ONDE NADA ESTÁ DIVIDIDO,E TUDO QUE NOS DÁ VIDA É UMA ÚNICA ENERGIA EM TODO UNIVERSO.KITARO É VER A TERRA EM CEUS,E SUA ALMA EM SERAPHIM.SHALOM

  • annyira jó, hogy az kimondhatatlan!!! olyan mély érzéseket kelt az emberben. én a temetésemen is szeretném ezt a dalt"hallgatni"...valahol van benne fájdalom és a repülés a mennyekbe....

  • EVERYTHING BY OTHERS,TODO POR LOS DEMAS!

  • @gilhero

It depends. To someone it´s music to keep awake and some another listen it to relax. Anyway... It keeps someone awake and helps someone to just relax so the point is there´s no wrong answer. :)
