Iceland gives two fingers to Gordon Brown over failed banks (05Jan10)

The people of Iceland used people power, showing REAL democracy, telling their government they do not want to pay for the failed Icelandic banks, and neither should they pay for banks mistakes.This makes Gordon Brown and New Labour angry. What goes around comes around Gordon. Maybe the rest of the planet would like their money too Gordon from the failed UK banks that have taken foreign money and now is in some black hole in New Labour and bankers Swiss bank accounts.

In return, Gordon is threatening the Icelandic government that the British will block any move for Iceland to join the Communist European Union project. Gordon thinks this is distressing, it's the best thing to happen to Iceland, their economy will not be further crippled by the EUSSR.

Gordon, you are cr@p at playing poker, and have been out maneuver - like losing your queen for a cr@ppy pawn in a game of chess and think that's a good move!

That are just few rich people from iceland and i think that everyone here in Iceland agrees with me that you can have them! But DO NOT threaten the Icelandic nation because we didn't do anything! Considering their huge geothermal energy potential they should build an undersea cable to Scotland and give us free (or very cheap) energy to pay the debt off. Once they pay it off it will be very useful for them and us.

I dont understand how the British investors expect to get bailed out when they are the ones who put their money at risk.. ITS CALLED AN INVESTMENT NOT UTOPIA your money is always at risk with investment you dont deserve to get it back at everyone else's expense .

@SKANDALIR banks know it too and they probably have not payed anything themselves but instead the debt is still there. Islandsbanki has money to repay it but it has not done it so far. And i dont know why the media is all silent about it.
