estou com 60 agora. com 17 anos já curtia The Ventures aqui no Brasil(S.Paulo) eles marcaram minha vida musical e de meu irmão quando agente tocava no porãozinho de casa. fico muito emocionado ao ve-los completando 50 anos de carreira. coisa boa também dura!

Absolutely! This wasn't a performance by The Ventures - it was a tribute to and celebration of their music at which we were fortunate enough to have two of the band members perform :)

Thanks I thing all about bands is the original members if the original members left or die and replace by others maybe the new members are better than the original members'''BUT'''they are still not the original very-very rare we except new members like LION TAYLOR because he is the son of the late MEL TAYLOR so the same family member in the same group.I thing you understand my point.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. We want to see bands with their original members whenever possible because that's the band we know and love.
In this video, the man playing bass - on the left - is Nokie's nephew. He organized this celebration because he is very proud of his uncle and of The Ventures and wanted to honor the great achievement of 50 years of Ventures music.
