Its not campy acting bc she is a character coming from the 40's, thats the way they talked. She was in character. And as for the flashback scene , when u r in fear u put that old glam hollywood talk down that that used to to back then and come back to reality and try to defend yourself. Carla Gugino is an amazing actress with amazing character choices, they are very specific!
