Ocado is an online supermarket founded on green principles to provide a more sustainable alternative to supermarket shopping. Here, Jason Gissing, one of the co-founders of Ocado discusses a greener way to do your grocery shopping
@memnono Oh yeah, I done that myself. Not to forget the reams of wasted paper, the fact that the vans in the yard (over 170 on most days) are left running 24/7, the ridiculously un-efficient routes (200+miles for 7 customers for example), the crappy lighting on sight that doesn't need to be on, the White City vans that run on ordinary petrol station quality diesel, the slowest intranet on the planet, the endless broken compters that are never fixed....what a great company.
